Climate Vulnerability in Malawi

Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), this project was part of a research initiative focused on improving the reproducibility and replicability of geospatial studies within academia. Following the methods of Malcomb et al. (2014), I aimed to improve the study’s reproducibility by collecting/processing all the data used in their analysis, filling in gaps of methodological ‘non-transparency,’ and creating commented code in RStudio that walks readers through the data transformations and climate vulnerability indicators produced and used.
