Historic Archaeology in Vermont

These maps were produced for my Environmental Studies Community-Engaged Practicum (ENVS 0401), where a team of two other students and I worked with the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation—our designated community partner—to help digitize analog, hand-drawn maps for geospatial use, visualize these data to illuminate narratives of human history across Vermont’s landscape, and to create a composite resource the state could use to develop both conservation and climate adaptation legislation for future archeological sites and other ecological assets. You can find the full report here.
