hello, howdy, xin chào!

i make maps (🗺️), visualize data (📈), and share stories about climate and culture (🌱). i also edit videos and capture memories on 35mm film, occasionally. i graduated from middlebury college with a degree in geography and environmental studies.

most recently, i interned at apple on the  maps team, doing cartographic research. prior, i was a graphics editor at science magazine, data visuals fellow at the texas tribune, a researcher for the hedge lab + hegsrr (an nsf-funded research project), a graphic designer for an architecture firm, and even a supply-chain researcher for terraloam, a sustainable medical wear start-up!

across my experiences, i’ve continually aimed to find simplicity amidst complexity, using data and visual design as mediums to inform the general public, improve climate literacy, and create cultural awareness.

other interests of mine include wes anderson films, asian food (dim sum, boba, you name it!), climbing, financial literacy, and sustainable fashion.
